Serbian Matryoshka and About My Shops

Hello Friend! I'm excited to introduce my Serbian Matryoshka! Prints in various sizes and a down loadable coloring sheet are now available in my Etsy shop. Also, this drawing and all my matryoshka drawings are now available on merchandise in my Zazzle shop.  While doing research, I found a number of beautiful examples of Serbian traditional dress and pinned them to a board here.

Lebanese Matryoshka with less Tantour showing

Lebanese Matryoshka

Because sometimes you feel like a headdress, sometimes you don't, I have created a new version of my Lebanese Matryoshka with less of the Tantour showing. She is called Lebanese Matryoshka and the one with the entire Tantour showing is entitled Lebanese Matryoshka with tall headdress.

Lebanese Matryoshka

Lebanese Matryoshka

Hello, I have completed a Lebanese Matryoshka! It was a bit of a challenge incorporating the Tantour headdress into the Matryoshka shape but it gave me the opportunity to include my cloud motif in the background. The sky surrounding her fit in with the nature, growing out of the earth- mountain and even tent feeling I was getting while drawing her. I received an anonymous request to draw her asking that the Lebanese flag's red and white striped colors with a green cedar tree be incorporated. So the colors are in her outfit and her jacket is green and also an abstract shape of the cedar tree. I have pinned a board of images I found on the web while doing research for her here. Also, I have listed my Lebanese Matryoshka prints and coloring sheet PDF in my shop. I hope you like her! :)

Another week, another Matryoshka! This is my Kazakh Matryoshka now available in my shop. I have had many requests for this culture mostly from parents who have adopted Kazakh children. :)  I enjoyed researching the Kazakh culture and found many images on the web that I've pinned to a board to share with you here.
