Korean Girl Matryoshka

I hope you like my latest drawing, a Korean Girl Matryoshka! My last two drawings, the Cambodian and Pakistani drawings, were so detailed with all the gold that I was really looking forward to doing this one with it's simple lines. I think there is a calm serenity in the traditional hanbok dress, and they are so pretty. I hope I did it justice.

My head is swirling with matryoshka ideas these days but next, the plan is to draw a Japanese matryoshka, and then a ballerina. Please keep the suggestions coming! :)

She's so sweet and feminine! I think you did a great job with the dress. I was only joking when I suggested the Oklahoma matryoshka, but I think I have a real suggestion now. How about Caribbean? I have always been fascinated with Caribbean culture. Everything is so colorful and festive, but very relaxed at the same time.

Ha ha ha, thank you Louise!! :)

He he. I knew you were kidding Holly. One drawing I could do for the Caribbean is a Cuban Girl wearing a traditional rumba dress!! Great idea Holly. Thank you! :)

This one is so incredibly gorgeous! I always like the combination of pink and green, very fresh looking. I'm glad you're doing a Japanese one and I really like the Cuban girl idea.

Thank you Polly. I love pink and green together too. I think my Japanese Matryoshka is going to be spring green and light pink with cherry blossoms. :)
