I may draw more American tribes/nations in the future though and I will keep your comments in mind. Thank you for your interest and helpful input. :)Amy Perrottihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11946804418017433711noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8682020995978851236.post-58176836017695209502011-06-19T21:19:55.471-04:002011-06-19T21:19:55.471-04:00And thank you for responding. Turtles are found in the art of a number of nations. Perhaps you could include 'plains' in the title if you were inspired by a number of groups from that area?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8682020995978851236.post-11325584245257190802011-06-19T18:13:27.254-04:002011-06-19T18:13:27.254-04:00Thank you. I wanted to portray an original American and I've heard that Turtle Island is what this land was called. So that is why I incorporated turtles as a design element (which is very unusual, because I usually go with the floral, leaf, or swirl design motifs).Amy Perrottihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11946804418017433711noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8682020995978851236.post-74032420389900498012011-06-19T00:41:03.525-04:002011-06-19T00:41:03.525-04:00Well I certainly think this is a lovely illustrati...Well I certainly think this is a lovely illustration, would it be possible to include the name of the tribe/nation that inspired it? Labeling her as 'Native American' doesn't say much about her origins. I've much appreciated the specificity of the other dolls and would like to know which group inspired this one.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8682020995978851236.post-64924830580203358412010-10-24T08:31:57.828-04:002010-10-24T08:31:57.828-04:00Thank you so much Louise Elizabeth! :)Thank you so much Louise Elizabeth! :)Amy Perrottihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11946804418017433711noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8682020995978851236.post-78672849130391518482010-10-24T06:11:43.970-04:002010-10-24T06:11:43.970-04:00I love her :) xI love her :) xlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01822566046210503771noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8682020995978851236.post-72956716306556569112010-10-15T16:25:40.315-04:002010-10-15T16:25:40.315-04:00Thank you Sonata! :)Thank you Sonata! :)Amy Perrottihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11946804418017433711noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8682020995978851236.post-50915033826841220542010-10-15T16:03:10.036-04:002010-10-15T16:03:10.036-04:00Amy, she is fantastic!!!Amy, she is fantastic!!!SonatasWelthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00614944987712985151noreply@blogger.com
