CD cover Portrait Preview

Hi! This week I've been working on the cover for my husband Eric's new CD. He is a wonderful (well, he IS a wonderful husband but is also) musician/composer. :) I find drawing him rather intimidating. Not because of his attitude about it. He is always supportive of my work. I just really want to do him and his music justice. So, this is a sneak peek at the work in progress. The pants are giving me a hard time. I think I'm going to have him pose wearing a different pair. These were too baggy. Not coming across as crossed legs. Anyway, hope you all are having a wonderful week!

Looks great! I have played classical guitar for over 15 years, but have never been able to compose, just play. Good luck to your hubby

As always, your hands are amazing! Such a difficult body part to do without them looking weird or scary or out of proportion, but you've nailed it again :-) I also think the trousers look fine. I totally get that his legs are crossed... looks like a classic guitar playing pose.

Thank you Nadine! I do love drawing hands, and feet. :) I worked on the pants some and am happier with them. Now it is just a matter of background colors and layout.

Such beautiful people, artist and composer/musician. Wow! Compliment each other brilliantly!
Your art looks awesome, really great graphic art!
Children are so sweet. Even though My eldest is 22 I still look upon Matthew and the other's as my babies. I have a five year old too.
Proud of them, I so give them a cookie and big cuddle still.
Thank you for your message, lovely to read.
